Who’s ready for the return of Jackson Lamb and his lovable band of misfits?! Slow Horses is back for its third season, and Apple TV+ has treated us to all the information about the return date and what we can expect this time from the group of hapless MI5 agents.

What is the plot of Slow Horses season 3?

Based on the book Real Tigers, the six-part third season will see “a romantic relationship in Istanbul that threatens to expose a buried MI5 secret in London. When Jackson Lamb and his team of misfits are drawn into the fray, they find themselves caught up in a conspiracy that threatens the future of not only Slough House but also MI5 themselves.”

The book’s synopsis adds further insight, reading: “Catherine Standish knows that spooks never happen by chance. She’s worked in intelligence long enough to understand betrayal, double-dealing and backstabbing. What she doesn’t know is why anyone would was aiming: a recovering drunk pushing paper with other lost cases in Jackson Lamb’s exile kingdom at Slough House. “Whoever is holding her hostage, it can’t be personal. It must be Slough House. It is most likely about Jackson Lamb. And say what you will about Lamb, he will never leave Joe in the lurch. He might even be someone you could trust with your life.”
