A brave dog saved its owner from a house fire. The two-year-old pit bull acted very smartly and quickly to keep the boy alive. This fire happened in Indianapolis.
A deaf boy named Nick Lamb. He’s thirteen years old. The dog’s name is Ace. The boy and the dog are real and inseparable friends.
The deaf boy was alone at home for the first time. He is very excited because he feels old enough to be at home alone. He usually wears in-ear hearing aids.
But the boy slept without a hearing aid and didn’t hear the house’s smoke alarm.
The dog licked the deaf boy’s face and the boy woke up as the fire burned faster and faster.
The boy and the dog quickly left the house because the whole house was engulfed in smoke. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
The dog is a real hero. A boy owes his life to the smart dog that saved his life.
