Soleil Moon Frye Shares Emotional Tribute to Late Ex Shifty Shellshock of Crazy Town: 'Love You Forever'

Soleil Moon Frye remembers Crazy Town’s Shifty Shellshock as someone who “loved his kids and me unconditionally.”

On Sunday, June 30, Punky Brewster The alum shared an emotional tribute on Instagram in honor of her late ex-boyfriend – who was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on June 24 at the age of 49.

Frye — who is confirmed to be dating the singer (real name Seth Binzer) in 2021 — wrote in a heartfelt caption over the weekend that her heart is “whispering millions of I love you.”

“I can still see your smiling sweet face in high school when you kissed me in your tunnel of love and the way you took me back when we were growing up to show me what that timeless kind of love was like,” Frye wrote, noting that the couple knew when they were young.

“No words could express the love we share or how we feel right now. It’s a language unto itself,” she added. “So for now, I’m going to use every ounce of strength you’ve shown me to hold on to those words you gave me in your beautiful morning gravelly voice on the beach as you covered me in kisses. ‘For the people we’ve lost, we’ll see them again down the road, won’t we? ?'”

Frye then answered her own question, writing, “I believe we want Seth.”

“And when we do, the most charming tattooed angel with a bad ass in mismatched shoes, who taught me how to drink life again, will be standing there with the biggest smile,” Frye wrote. “I will soon see your fiery cheek moon welcoming your family, friends, fans and loved ones under double rainbows… I love you forever and always. Your Moonfire xx.”

Shifty Shellshock’s family breaks silence on his death: ‘A troubled soul’ and ‘Heart of gold’

In the post, Frye shared multiple photos of herself and her late ex, including snaps of him holding her close, posing in a photo booth and kissing on the beach. One image shows the Crazy Town frontman hanging Christmas lights with Frye and her children.

Frye is the mother of daughter poet Sienna Rose and Jagger Joseph Blue, as well as sons Lyric Sonny Roads and Story. Binzer was the father of the sons Halo, Gage and Phoenix, per Sun.

Binzer’s manager Howie Hubberman confirmed to PEOPLE last week that the musician died of an accidental drug overdose, writing that he “wasn’t able to reach out on a more successful level to deal with his addictions.”

“The cause of death was a combination of prescription drugs and drugs purchased on the street,” he wrote. “Shifty was a friend and really wanted to fix it – unfortunately no one had the right tools to do it, including me.”

Following his death, the “Butterfly” singer’s family shared a statement with Sun that his “proudest achievements” are his children. “To Seth, the world was art – he loved every part of it, from music and fashion to graffiti, skateboarding and his hometown of Los Angeles,” the statement read. “He loved his three sons more than anything, and his dedication to his music and his fans never wavered.”

The family wrote that Binzer “struggled with addiction his whole life” and “tried so hard to defeat his demons, but unfortunately he lost the battle.”

“Our hearts are broken by his loss. Seth’s incredible presence touched many,” the statement continued. “Seth was a troubled soul, but he was beautiful and had a heart of gold.”
