Sophie Turner Returns to Social Media for the First Time Since Joe Jonas Split — See Her Post!

Sophie Turner is back on social media for the first time since announcing her split from Joe Jonas.

It’s on Saturday Game of Thrones The 27-year-old star shared a video on Instagram discussing an environmental issue she cares about.

“Hello everyone! I’ve been asked to spread the word about the power of positivity,” Turner began the video. “And after researching and seeing the very clear effects of global warming, it’s something I really wanted to raise awareness about.”

The actress went on to say that “we need to shift, switch to renewable energy and let nature give us power – and not just power, positive power.”

Turner, “#PositivePowerPartner,” added that change is “not impossible” with the Positive Power Plan, which she said “has worked in a fair and safe way to help millions of people like you and me.”

“So we have to make it known to our leaders, that this is the future we want for ourselves and for those we love, our children and grandchildren,” she said, then asked her fans to join her in asking questions of “the decision makers in government and industry” to support the plan.

“The more he asks us, the more likely he is to listen,” Turner concluded.

The video comes more than two months after Turner’s last Instagram post, which was a joint statement with ex Jonas, 34, about their split.

On their accounts, the actress and musician wrote: “A statement from the two of us: ‘After four wonderful years of marriage, we have jointly decided to end our marriage amicably.’ ”

“There are many speculative stories as to why, but this is truly a mutual decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” the statement concluded.

The couple shared the statement a day after Jonas filed for divorce from Turner on Sept. 5. The petition claims that “the marriage between the parties has been irretrievably dissolved,” according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.

At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the divorce came as “no surprise” to people close to the couple at the time.

In October, the couple shared another joint statement, this time on a temporary custody agreement for their children.
