Spencer Pratt Reveals How Much He's Made from TikTok After Losing Home in L.A. Fires

Spencer Pratt is on a bit of luck after the recent tragedy of losing her home.

Spencer, 41, said in a new interview that he made a “life-changing” amount of money on TikTok after his home and that of his wife, Heidi Montag Pratt, were destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires.

“This week I made about $4,000 on TikTok, but on TikTok LIVE, where people can give me directly, I think maybe $20,000. So it’s phenomenal and life-changing,” he said Diversity in a new interview published on January 17.

“It’s the power of individual fans, people who just support you and get behind you,” he said Hills alum. “And that’s the most powerful — when you don’t have to rely on ads or AI and algorithms when just real human beings just want to give. It’s amazing and incredible.”

Spencer’s TikTok page reached two million followers on Friday, January 17. He gained almost a million new followers in the past week after uploading videos to the platform more frequently as he documented the aftermath of losing the LA home he shared with wife Heidi, 38, to the outlet.

The reality TV star also used his page to encourage fans to stream Heidi’s album superficially — which reached No. 1 on the iTunes chart — after its 15th anniversary reissue on January 11.

“When everything was going on, I saw an email pop up that the album was going live, and I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ I just made a TikTok that reminds people to stream,” Spencer said Diversity. “I was looking for anything to do with income.”

However, unlike his TikTok page, Spencer said he has “no idea how much money” the album has made despite doing quite well compared to the original 2010 release.

“Everyone keeps telling me, don’t expect money. I’m more excited about the energy and the opportunities that come from it. I don’t think these flows [make money]”, he said. “Based on what people tell me, the music business is about touring, it’s about merchandise, it’s about all the things that come with it.”

Spencer said he hopes to start selling superficially T-shirts — for which he has received 5,000 orders from fans — when he can return to his Pratt Daddy offices in the Palisades, Diversity reported.

Spencer and Heidi are updating fans on the aftermath of losing the home they’ve been living in with their sons Ryker, 2, and Gunner, 6, since the Southern California wildfires broke out on January 7.

Father-of-two Spencer revealed on TikTok that his family is currently living in his parents’ rental home after they lost their property in the Pacific Palisades wildfire.

“I’m optimistic because it’s really the only way we’re going to get through all of this,” he said Diversity.
