In 2003, he made his debut with the Kannada romantic drama “Chandra Chakori”, in which he played the lead role of Puttaraju.
In the 2004 Kannada romantic drama “Kanti”, he played Srikantha “Kanti”, a college student who gets into political entanglements after falling in love with a Marathi girl. In 2008, he played the role of Bhadra in the Kannada film Minchina Ota, produced by his father and in which his brother Vijay Raghavendra also played the role of Bhadra. He also manages his family’s production company, Sowbhagya Pictures. The banner has produced several Kannada films, including “Sevanthi Sevanthi” (2006) and “Ganesha Matthe Banda” (2008). According to reports, he received a total of 67 film offers after the success of the 2014 Kannada film Ugramm; however, he turned down all of them.
