Carter made her wrestling debut on April 18, 1998 with Power Pro Wrestling in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In August 1999, she appeared as Miss Kitty on Raw is War, the flagship show of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). She defeated Ivory, Jacqueline and Barbara “BB” Bush in the Four Corners Evening Gown Pool competition by pulling and ripping their dresses. Stary Carter changed her identity to The Kat and competed in the ‘Miss Royal Rumble Swimsuit Contest’ at the Royal Rumble in a bubble bikini.
Similarly, she was defeated in a catfight by Terri Runnels. Kat launched the “Right to Censorship” campaign, which involved a lot of wrestlers.
