Starbucks’ Peppermint Mocha Coffee and Holiday Creamers Have Finally Returned to Grocery Stores

Even though Halloween is still right around the corner, Starbucks has already started bringing its holiday blends back into stores.

The Seattle-based coffee company announced today that its popular holiday coffee blend, as well as peppermint mocha and gingerbread coffee, are returning to store shelves nationwide – all with brand new packaging.

It also said that Starbucks’ holiday cinnamon, caramel and white chocolate creams are also available for purchase, along with the chain’s holiday specials: Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino and Peppermint Mocha Iced Espresso.

Starbucks’ classic holiday coffee blend, which is made with signature flavor notes from Latin American and Indonesian coffee plants, has kept the bright red Christmas packaging, but ditched the mistletoe art in favor of gold bokeh lights. It retails for $11.99 to $36.99 for its K-Cup pods and $11.99 to $15.49 for bags of ground coffee.

The coffee company’s peppermint mocha packaging is similar, featuring pink bokeh lights along with peppermint candies and chocolate topping swirls. He described the flavor of the coffee as “rich chocolate notes meeting the delight of mint” with “just the right amount of cocoa and peppermint sweetness.”

Meanwhile, its gingerbread-flavored packs come in a dark maroon with photos of star-shaped cookies emblazoned all over. It also has the same bokeh lights and notes that the coffee flavor has flavors of “freshly roasted gingerbread, aromas of cinnamon and cloves and a hint of sweetness mixed with Starbucks lightest roasted coffee.”

Starbucks’ cream puffs match the red theme with the top half of the cream in bright red packaging with snowflake motifs, and the bottom half displayed with a photo of each of the corresponding flavors.

In its description of its cinnamon dolce cinnamon coffee creamer, Starbucks said it’s “made with rich cinnamon streusel flavor” and said it “burns” with Starbucks coffee for a “sweet and smooth morning cup.”

As for the caramel macchiato cream’s flavor profile, the coffee company said the special cream has “layers of sweet, buttery caramel and hints of vanilla,” while the white chocolate cream is “made with the sweetness of white chocolate.”

Every 28 oz. a bottle of cream is sold in stores for $5.99.

Last week, the coffee company also unveiled its holiday coffee mug collection, which includes cold poinsettia-inspired prism mugs and color-changing hot mug sets.

Earlier this year, Starbucks brought back its fall drinks and gave out temporary tattoos for the PSL’s 20th birthday — so fans are hoping the return of the holiday drinks this winter will come with a similarly fun promotion.
