Along with her father Mark, her stepmother Char, and her brother Hunter, Schroeder competed on season 8 of the reality game show The Amazing Race in 2005. The family finished seventh out of 10 teams. The Schroeders’ home was inundated and damaged by Hurricane Katrina after the show’s production. While they repaired their house, they stayed with another family from the program.
