STAYC Isa’s Performance On Inkigayo Has Been Canceled Due To An Ankle Injury

STAYC, the girl group, will not be performing on the Inkigayo stage today (July 31). Isa, one of the members, got an ankle injury, which made it impossible for her to perform in these conditions. The remaining five members will continue with the autograph event and filming for the ISAC (Idol Star Athletics Championships). Isa, a 20-year-old singer known by her real name Lee Chae-young, debuted with a girl group in 2020. She appreciates being the lead singer of Stereotype. SWITH, the group’s fans, were taken aback by the news and sympathized with the singer. They expressed their concern on social media, wishing the icon a speedy recovery.

Isa from STAYC will not participate in any upcoming event, according to the agency.

Isa, 20, will not be at the group’s next promotional events. This includes Inkigaya’s performance, autograph session and ISAC 2022. SWITHs who have been waiting for full group performances and activities will have to settle for OT5 programming for now. HIGH UP Entertainment alerted followers to Isa’s ankle injury on July 31. The 20-year-old was rehearsing for a performance when she injured her right ankle.

“Hello, this is HIGH-UP Entertainment.” We are writing to inform you of the injuries to STAYC member Isa and to inform you of the group’s activities. Isa injured her right ankle today while preparing for planned activities and is currently undergoing treatment.”

The note also said that the group will not be attending the SBS Inkigayo performance. Usually, ensembles do not bring wounded members on stage and instead play without them. However, the agency representing the female group decided to cancel the stage performance. Fans may take solace in the fact that the trio will continue signing and recording for ISAC 2022. These events, however, will not include Isa.
