“For me, having money meant having freedom and the ability to buy luxury. For me today, money is just paper, said Stepan Timoshin. He is a millionaire and he is 22 years old. Anyone who currently believes that the young businessman may have joined his father’s nest is mistaken. The opening episode of the third season of the documentary series “Money Maker” shows how an ambitious young man went from the dark world of reselling sneakers to the life of a professional businessman. In the end, he achieved the status of “young millionaire in tennis shoes”.
He grew up in Latvia, near Riga. When Stepan was seven years old, his family moved to Germany, which was both a challenging and exciting decision for him. In the film by Moritz Hartnagel and Sigrid Born-Berg, he reveals that it took a lot of work for him to learn German fluently and manage in school.
