Fortunately, email services have their own password recovery process that you can use to recover your account. Similarly, if you have forgotten your Gmail account password or the account has been hacked, you can easily recover it using any of the recovery options provided by the email giant.

- Go to Gmail.com and click ‘Sign in’.
- Enter your username and click ‘Next’.
- Then click on ‘I forgot my password’
- You can now enter your old password if you remember it or click ‘Try another way’.
- Enter the recovery phone number associated with your Gmail account and click ‘Submit’.
- Check your phone for the verification code that Google sent you.
- Enter the same in the given space and click ‘Next’.
- You can now set a new password for your Gmail account, enter it again and press ‘Next’.
- You will be logged into your Gmail account.
