STEVE COOPER has spoken to distraught young trumpeter Caiden Storry and invited him to meet his Nottingham Forest heroes.
The club invited the 16-year-old Forest season ticket holder to play The Last Post before kick-off as the club marked Remembrance Day.

However, despite a flawless start, Caiden lost his way and never made it to the end, much to his obvious distress.
TV viewers saw Forest and Villa players led by Ollie Watkins and Lucas Digne to comfort the devastated boy, with Cooper paying tribute to the youngster afterwards.
He said: “For a 16-year-old boy who is a supporter to stand in the middle of the pitch and do that, and do it brilliantly, is something to be really proud of and we are proud of him.
“It was nice to see how both teams responded, because they have to play and they know what it’s like.
“I’ve been able to speak to Caiden and we’re going to get him and bring him to training because I want him to meet the players so he knows how good he’s been.
“He said ‘I’m sorry about that’ and I said ‘why, everyone’s really proud of you’.
“The Villa lads were excellent and the fans and the players did a brilliant job, Caiden did a brilliant job today and I’m really proud of what he did for us.”
The young man performed the military trumpet excellently, but struggled to hit the right notes at the end.
That caused a brief second of confusion in the stadium, but then the entire field – including both sets of players, coaches and fans – erupted into spontaneous applause.
The boy seemed visibly upset after the unfortunate accident.
But before he walked off the field clutching his trumpet, he was consoled by several players from both teams.
Villa trio Ollie Watkins, Nicolo Zaniolo and Lucas Digne, as well as Forest’s Orel Mangala were among those who rallied around fans with elegant gestures of support, including hugs and handshakes.
And the viewers at home praised both the trumpeter and the football players for the healthy moment.
One said: “Absolute class from fans and players alike. Great to see.”
Another wrote: “Can we just say a big well done to that 16 year old who gave it his all in the Last Post before the game. So brave. Nice from the NFFC and AVFC players who came over afterwards.”
A third added: “All the Forest and Villa players who came up to the trumpeter after the last announcement were so healthy.”
A fourth commented: “Fair play to the guy… I know I couldn’t do that in front of 30,000 people.”
And the end user wrote: “Absolutely superb effort and bravery from that young man who played The Last Post. Also great that both groups of players recognized him afterwards.”
When the match started, Ola Aina gave Forest the lead after just five minutes, firing low into the bottom corner.
And Forest made it 2-0 and wrapped up the three points just 68 seconds into the second half.
Mangala released the ball from distance and Emi Martinez made the save, pushing the ball into the air before it bounced back over the line.
