Steve Irwin’s family is remembering him on what would have been his 62nd birthday.
“Happy Birthday! Missing my Action Man. ❤️,” his wife Terri Irwin captioned his video, which she shared on her Instagram account. The clip featured a compilation of some of the late crocodile hunter’s best moments in the wild.

His voice was automatically tuned to the song. Terri, 59, credited Melodysheep for the mashup.
The Irwins had two children before his death in September 2006.

“Happy birthday dad. Your legacy will live on forever,” their daughter Bindi Irwin wrote on a sweet carousel on Instagram.

In the first picture, the 25-year-old shared a picture of her younger self standing next to her father as he sits next to her. They both smiled as she held a live bird in her hand. Several pictures saw Steve tussling with alligators and another with a Komodo dragon.

There were also a few group photos of the family, as well as a picture of a young Steve and Terri hugging while holding a puppy.
“Steve’s love for you will also live forever. ❤”, the mother of two children commented on her daughter’s post on social networks.

Their son Robert Irwin also paid tribute to his father.
“It’s a significant day to share this special story… on Dad’s birthday. I’m so proud that his legacy lives on,” the 20-year-old captioned the video.
The clip included a sentimental voiceover that played as footage from Robert’s childhood with his father overlaid with new content.
Steve’s son explained that when he was a small boy, “every morning” he and his sister Bindi would sit on his father’s lap while the wildlife educator and environmentalist toured his “Honda 100” which was his “main mode of transport” in the Australian outback. zoo as we checked out the many animals that called the location home.
Robert admitted that after his father’s death, the motorcycle sat unused for a while, but recently restarted it.
“Some of my fondest and earliest memories were on that bike,” he said, adding that now it’s his job to get up early and do the same “park checks” his father did.

“I’m not crying you are… I’m definitely crying..😭,” one person commented. Another wrote: “I swear Robert makes Steve proud every day. 🙌.”
The Irwin family continues to run Australia Zoo together.
Steve was born on February 22, 1962. He died in September 2006 at the age of 44 after being pierced in the chest by a short-tailed stingray spine while diving on the Great Barrier Reef.
