Strictly Come Dancing contestant reveals front-runner following group rehearsals

Strictly Come Dancing kicks off this weekend and we can’t wait to see the celebs take to the dance floor to show off their best moves.

It seems there’s one fellow celebrity dancer for Nigel Harman he’d rather avoid fighting if he ends up in a dreaded dance-off!

Interview with HELLO! and other media at a recent Q&A event ahead of this weekend’s first episode of the Ballroom and Latin competition, Victim the actor revealed that he was impressed by Angela Rippon’s Charleston during a recent rehearsal.

Speaking at the same Q&A event, Angela told HELLO! and other media: “The fact that I can do a high kick is because I’m so flexible because I know you have to be able to do the job.

The last thing I did that required real stamina was when I worked at the Queen’s funeral. I was on air at 3 in the morning on television and I came in at 4:30 in the afternoon, 1 p.m., and you can’t do that if you’re not in shape.”

The broadcaster added: “The fact that I can do splits and high kicks is like a party trick, if you’re doing the Rumba or the Cha-Cha-Cha, it’s a really nice waltz and tango that requires you to dance.”
