STRICTLY’s Nigel Harman ‘had a furious row with wife Lucy Liemann in front of shocked fans in Blackpool’.

The actor, who had to leave the BBC show this weekend due to health reasons, was unhappy with the judges’ scores a few weeks ago.

Nigel and dance partner Katya Jones scored 31 out of a possible 40 after dancing to Duke Ellington’s It Don’t Mean A Thing.

Despite the high rating, the former EastEnders star was reportedly not too happy about it.

An audience source told MailOnline: “Nigel was super pumped for the show, unlike the other celebs they all interacted with fans as they took their seats in front of the cameras after being introduced but he was just in the zone, he ignored the people greeting him.

“And it all started when he got his points from the judges. When the cameras stopped rolling, he rushed back to his seat and called his wife. You could tell she knew what was coming.

“She tried to calm him down, but he didn’t succeed and he took out his disappointment on her.

– After he left, Katya then tried to comfort her. She was visibly upset.

It comes after The Sun revealed cast members were relieved Nigel had left the competition after experiencing mood swings backstage.

Just hours before Saturday night’s episode of Strictly aired, it was revealed that Nigel had left the competition after injuring his ribs.

The Casualty favorite was set to perform the Charleston to Step in Time from Disney’s Mary Poppins during the live quarter-finals.

However, a source told us: “Nigel was not at training this morning and the other dancers were informed later in the day. He and Katya were very disappointed as they had hoped to stay in the competition.

“They were not among the last two, so they had a real chance to reach the final.

“Nigel trained really hard and really threw himself into rehearsals.”

A BBC spokesman said: “Unfortunately, Nigel has suffered a rib injury which means he is unable to perform on tonight’s show and has had to withdraw from Strictly.”

But Nigel will return to Strictly Come Dancing as part of the grand final.

A source told the Mail: “It’s always sad when a contestant leaves the show, especially when they get injured.

“Nigel will be greatly missed by those who worked alongside him on the show and everyone wishes him the best and looks forward to seeing him in the final on Saturday 16 December.”
