Sujata Paul Maliah was born on March 7 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Her star sign is Pisces. She went to school at the Convent of Jesus and Mary, Dehradun. She attended DAV College, Dehradun and obtained a Masters in English Literature. Later, she obtained a Masters in Organic Chemistry from St. John’s College, Agra. In 2004, she founded a natural products company, Goldtouch Natural Products. In an interview, when asked about her natural products company, she said,
I am a teacher and had taught Sumant Pai back in 1997-98 and we have stayed in touch thanks to social media. I was born and brought up here and had seen our rivers getting choked and mountains turned into garbage dumps and Sumant knew my passion so I joined in. “Initially, we did face some resistance from wholesalers but things are looking up now. We pay 12% GST on our products which I think should be removed, as a matter of course.”
She acted in the Indian film Bachpan: The Girl in 2014. She has also appeared in some television commercials.
