As a child, he started practicing as a wrestler in Akhara, Ludhiana, Punjab. When he was a teenager, the leader of Akala was approached by a security agency and hired several boys as security guards and bodyguards. Sukar said in an interview with the media,
We have been working in the mud of “Akara” since childhood. I realized that wrestlers were not on the priority list of governments and sports promoters. So, working here is a dream come true. We learned about this employment opportunity through the head of the “akhara” contacted by a local private security agency. The agency is looking for healthy, communicative individuals to manage the city’s shopping centers. The terms of the agreement and payment options suited us and we accepted the job. “
At a young age, he came into contact with a local mob. Thereafter he became involved in various criminal activities. Gradually, he formed his own gang and carried out various criminal activities such as robbery, murder, extortion, and possession of illegal weapons. In 2005, his name emerged in the murder case of two men named Deepu and Boralam. According to local police, he killed two men and threw their bodies into the Sidwan canal in Ludhiana, for which he was arrested. He was later released on bail. In 2012, he was arrested by the Punjab police in two “attempted murder” cases. He shot at Amandeep Asa of Dhandran Road, Ludhiana and Jagdeep Chahal (NRI) of Model Town, Ludhiana. A year later, he tried to kill a man named Mani Bhanja on Barewal Road. In December 2013, he got into a gang war with a rival gang. He was also involved in more murders. In 2014, Sukar was arrested by the Punjab police along with other gang members in a robbery case. Sukar’s gang robbed a man named Koval Krishan (Jimmy). The gang robbed Kewal of a Mahindra Verito car, Rs 2 lakh and gold jewelery at gunpoint. Speaking to the media following their arrest, Senior Constable PS Gill said:
He added that Sukar was involved in 39 theft cases across the state, of which nearly 13 were in Ludhiana. Ludhiana Narcotics Squad sub-inspector Harbans Singh and a police team were patrolling Hambran Road. Around 5.30 am, a Mahindra Verito with registration number PB-09T-4488 came from the Hambran village side. The police signaled the vehicle to stop, but the defendant tried to escape and assaulted the police officer on duty. However, police arrested them after a chase. “

Friendship turns into competition
When Sukar was training in Akhara, he met a wrestler named Sanjiv Sharma aka Sunny, the late Sub-Inspector Surjit Chand. Son of Surjit Chand Sharma. Soon, they became good friends. Subsequently, Sukha and Sanjiv started participating in various criminal activities. One day, they had a fight and Sukar got angry and slapped Sanjeev. Sanjiv took this as an insult and from that day on, their friendship turned into competition. In retaliation, Sanjeev planned Sukar’s murder and on May 22, 2016, Sanjeev broke into Sukar’s rented apartment in Barrewal Star Colony, Ludhiana. Sanjiv fired six bullets at Sudha, four of which hit him, and he was immediately rushed to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana. After several days of treatment in the hospital, he recovered. Speaking to the media during the shooting, a police officer said,
Souka is a notorious gangster who faces trial in 19 cases including murder, attempted murder, robbery and robbery. Sonny was once Suka’s assistant and also had a criminal record. Three criminal cases have been registered against him at different police stations. “

On May 8, 2023, Sukar was shot dead by friend-turned-rival Rohit Malhotra at Joginder Nagar in Hebowal, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. Suka and Rohit gather at their mutual friend’s house to resolve their issues. However, the discussion turned into a verbal argument, after which they started shooting at each other. In the shooting, Sukar was shot dead and Rohit suffered several injuries to his eyes. Immediately after the shooting, the two were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Souka was pronounced dead and Sanjeev was undergoing treatment.
