Sumedh Vasudev Mudgalkar was born on 2 November 1996 in Pune, Maharashtra (27 years old; as of 2023).

Since childhood, he has been obsessed with dance. His family also supported him and he moved from Pune to Mumbai to pursue his dream.
His passion for dance inspired him to showcase his talent in Maharashtrian Dance (2012).

In 2013, he participated in Dance India Dance 4, where his impressive dance performances earned him the nickname “Beat King”.
His impressive dance performance in Dance India Dance 4 earned him his first acting gig in Channel V’s dance show Dil Dosti Dance (2014), where he played the role of Raghav.

He first gained recognition for his acting skills when he played the negative character “Yuvraj Sushim” in Colors TV’s historical drama Ashoka.
Being a Marathi, he always wanted to showcase his acting in the Marathi entertainment industry; and made his debut in the Marathi film industry playing the role of Karan in the film Ventilator (2016).
The following year, he made his first Marathi film with a starring role in Manjha, in which he played the role of Vicky, a psychopath.
His breakthrough role as young Krishna in Swastik Picture’s mythological drama RadhaKrishn gave him a heart-ruling breakthrough.

He was educated at Sinhgad Springdale Public School, Pune and received a degree in Economics from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. He began performing in dance shows while in school and continued producing television shows and films while graduating. He played the role of young Krishna in the epic love saga of Lord Krishna and Radha and starred in Star Bharat’s Radha Krishna alongside Mallika Singh Mallika Singh has become a household name ever since.
