- One of her inspirations comes from her father, who told her when she was 13 that mediocrity had no place. She took his words to heart and wanted to create something irreplaceable. This has helped her in many other aspects of her life as well.
- Josh Talks was awarded the National Media Award by President Ramnath Kovind. It was also named one of the top 100 startups in 2018 by The Economic Times and Sutra HR.
- Although Josh Talks has documented over 4,000 human stories, she decided to select the 30 most viewed stories on YouTube to compile her book.
- Supriya believes that her first major failure was when she was 17 when she failed to get into her dream college, Shri Ram College of Commerce. However, later she felt there was no point dwelling on her failures as they were just part of the journey.
- She also launched the Josh Skill app, which offers short and affordable courses to help people develop the necessary skills to further their careers. The app has been downloaded more than 1.5 million times and has 150,000 paying users.
- Her book’s release date was just before the pandemic began. However, this did not stop the publication date and she continued. She also said that royalties from the book will be donated to India’s COVID-19 Relief Fund.
