She joined NDTV News Channel in October 2004 as an Assistant Editor. She spent four years working in news reporting, editing, and scriptwriting. In September 2008, she became the news editor of the Economic Times Channel, ET Now and Times of India Group in New Delhi. During her ten-year tenure at The Economic Times, she served as executive editor and policy editor.
