Suresh Albela is an Indian poet (Hasya Kavi) and stand-up comedian. He is the winner of the television comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge (2008).

I started taking part in stage shows and kavi samelans with the aim of attracting the attention of television directors. Finally, I got a call from Assistant Director Hemant Sharma to audition for The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and got selected. “
In 2007, he auditioned for the reality television comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, but failed. He competed again in the fourth season of the same show and eventually won the title. The show airs on Star One.
In the play, his Sanskrit description of Indian actress Mallika Sherawat was very popular.

Subsequently, Suresh participated in various poetry events and comedy shows.
In 2016, he appeared in TV comedy shows like Mazaak Mazaak Mein and Mazaak Mazaak Mein.
He has appeared in some television comedy series such as “Comedy Ke Sartaj Mr. Bajaj” and “Kavi Yudh”. In 2021, he performed in the comedy show “Suresh Albela Show”.

In 2017, he took a dig at self-proclaimed Indian god Asaram Bapu in a comedy show. According to reports, his jokes did not go down well with Asaram’s followers, who started sending him death threats.
