In Acharya, Suresh Selvarajan created the town of Dharmasthali, believed to be the largest set ever built in India. It covers an area of 20 acres and has temples, tribal areas and riverbeds. People loved Suresh’s work in the film and his work was well received by producer Ram Charan, critics and audiences alike. It took him four months to plan and another three months to build the set. Later, Salman Khan’s 2023 film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was opened to the town for free. In December 2023, Suresh Selvarajan participated in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor Kapoor) starring. He built a 500kg machine gun for the film, made entirely of real steel. - On February 27, 2023, a major fire broke out at the Acharya movie shooting location near Kokapet Lake in Hyderabad. The grand temple building of Dharmasthali caught fire and the video of the incident went viral.
