Susan Sarandon Makes Cameo in Son’s Satirical ‘Day in the Life of a Nepo Baby’ Instagram Video

Jack Robbins, son of Susan Sarandon, shared a satirical video of his life alongside his mother in an Instagram video last week.

Since Wednesday’s announcement, Sarandon has gone viral after appearing in Robbins’ comedy video, “A Day in the Life of a Nepo Baby.”

While Robbins, 34, is the star of the social media video, he features his mother, 77, during the second half, poking fun at her fame and his relationship with the Oscar winner — and her fame.

Robbins introduced himself and detailed his morning routine, which includes wellness techniques such as meditation and stretching. He demonstrated these two practices next to a huge photo of his mother above his bed. As he meditated, he checked his phone throughout the exercise and told viewers, “Meditation is very important to me to start the day.”

Then Robbins headed for the shower. There, he showed off some of his shower artwork, including a photo of his father, Tim Robbins, during the iconic scene from Shawshank Redemption.

Sarandon and Robbins, 65, share Jack and Miles Robbins, 31. Sarandon also shares daughter Eva Amurri, 38, with ex-boyfriend Franco Amurri.

Sarandon appeared halfway through the video when Robbins arrived at her apartment. Robbins filmed her reaction and zoomed in on his mother’s exasperated demeanor.

“My mom is always really excited to see me,” Robbins joked.

Robbins then showed his mother’s apartment and several of her awards.

“[I’m] I’m so grateful for everything that Susan Sarandon, my mom, has taught me not only about the film industry but about life,” Robbins said. “I also love taking pictures with all of her awards and accomplishments and keys to the city.”

After learning a few lessons from his mother, Robbins joked in voiceover about their “usual” arguments. “Then we usually fight about money and my inheritance,” he said.

During a clip of the mother-son argument, Robbins jokingly yells at Sarandon, “That’s not your fucking money! Now that’s my money!”

The clip then cuts to Sarandon sleeping face down on her couch as Robbins says in a voiceover, “After that, my mom usually takes a nap.”

But his day doesn’t end there. Robbins explained that after their mothers go to bed, they participate in a special ceremony together where they hide in a dark closet and Robbins wears a black velvet robe.

“And then I put on my cloak for my ceremony and wring as much talent from my mother’s soul as I could,” he said. “Yum! And goes to bed.”
