Sushma died after being shot 2 to 4 times by unidentified assailants near her apartment in Noida on the night of Tuesday, October 1, 2019.
Sushma lives with her ex-husband (Gajendra Bhati) in her apartment but her ex-husband lives with his live-in partner in a separate room in the apartment.
Gautam Buddh Nagar Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said:
“She was returning from a project in neighboring Bulandshahr district when the attack took place. She was hit by three to four bullets and died after being taken to hospital.”
Nekpur survived an attack on August 19 this year at a project in Bulandshahr Mehsana village.
