Suzanne Somers’ Step by Step Costars Set to Reunite at 90s Con for the First Time Since Her Death (Exclusive)

The Step by step The cast gathers for a bittersweet reunion.

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that the cast will appear together at 90s Con in March. Patrick Duffy, Staci Keanan, Angela Watson, Christine Lakin, Christopher Castile, Jason Marsden and Sasha Mitchell have all confirmed participation.

This will be the first reunion of the cast since Suzanne Somers died of breast cancer on October 15, one day before her 77th birthday.

‘Step by Step’ cast Staci Keanan, Christopher Castile, Christine Lakin, Patrick Duffy, Suzanne Somers, Brandon Call, Josh Byrne, Angela Watson and Sasha Mitchell.

After Somers’ death, tributes to several of them Step by step costars poured in. Duffy, who played Somers’ on-screen husband Frank Lambert, sent PEOPLE a statement at the time: “Like everyone who knew her, I was stunned yesterday by the news that my dear and dear friend Suzanne has passed away. ”

“I’m not the only one who wishes I had one more face to face with her and [her husband] Alan, but if we had that meeting last Friday, I’d still be craving another one today,” added Duffy, 74. “That’s the painful beauty of our current human reality. I send as much strength and support as I can to Alan and [her son] Bruce and her family and to her I say; When the stone of your life fell into this pond, you made a real wave, my friend. Thank you.”

Suzanne Somers’ husband revealed why she was laid to rest in Timberland boots

Keanan, 48, who played eldest child Dana Foster in the family comedy, described Somers as “a bright, bubbly spirit, very kind, funny and generous-hearted”.

“She was universally adored on set Step by step, and when someone asked her what it was like to work with her, I found myself often saying that to know her was to love her,” she said in a statement to PEOPLE. “In addition to her many creative gifts, Suzanne was also a brilliant work person. As her ‘TV daughter’, she was so warm and caring towards me. I thought she was just flawless. I will miss her, but I was lucky to know her.”

90s Con organizer That’s 4 Entertainment previously announced a lineup of guests for this year’s fan convention, including Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon, Alyssa Milano, Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Jodi Benson.

While Step by step aired from 1991 to 1998 for seven seasons, first on ABC and then on CBS, several cast members stayed in touch, with Keanan, Duffy and Lakin, 44, reuniting in 2018.
