Swaraj Shetty is an Indian actor and theater artist who works primarily in the Tulu film industry. He rose to fame with his role as Guruva in the film Kantara (2022).

He made his debut in Kannada in 2017 with a romantic comedy called Ondu Motteya Kathe. In 2022, he appeared in Rishab Shetty’s critically acclaimed film Kantara, playing the role of Guruva, the cousin of the protagonist. Swaraj earned huge popularity and appreciation through this film.

- When Swaraj first auditioned for the film Kantala, he was not selected; however, a few days later he got a call to audition again. The casting staff asked Swaraj to shave off his beard and he got the role of Guruva, brother of the protagonist.
- Kannada movie ‘Kantara’ has become one of the most talked about movies. The folklore-based film was highly praised by luminaries of the Indian film industry, including Dhanush, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati.
- Swaraj revealed in an interview that he has performed more than 400 theater performances.
