Syed began his journalism career as a reporter for Channel 24 and City 42. Later, he joined the show “11 Hours of Waseem Badami” which aired on YouTube. In 2010, he started working as a news anchor at Express News channel in Lahore, where he worked until 2014. In 2014, he joined Samaa TV as an anchor. He serves as current affairs anchor for Dawn, current affairs anchor and political reporter for Channel 24, and current affairs anchor for Samaa TV.
