Burnett is a singer, songwriter, record producer and theme creator from the United States. He also founded the music company DMZ. His first instrumental credits came from creating records and sound design for films. His Individual Works Truth Decay, Burnett’s first solo album after Alpha Band, was released on Takoma Records in 1980. The Criminal Under My Own Hat, Bone’s 1992 album, featured experimental music for adults. Similarly, he released two songs in 2006.

In 2019, he released The Invisible Light: Acoustic Space with Jay Bellerose and Keefus Ciancia. Thousands of other media items, including some of Bone’s footage, were also destroyed in the 2008 Universal fire. T Bone Production collaborated with Elvis Costello on the single The People’s Limousine in 1985 as The Coward Brothers. In 1987 he recorded two Roy Orbison records, In Dreams: The Greatest Hits and Mystery Girl. Burnett composed the music for the adaptation of All the King’s Men. In 2006, he participated in Brandi Carlile’s album The Story. Recorded Grace Potter and the Nocturnal CD in 2009. Bone produced an album written by Elton John and Leon Russell. Gregg Allman released Low Country Blues in January 2011 and Burnett recorded it in 2010.
