Taapsee Pannu is an Indian actress and model who mainly appears in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films. She is one of the few South Indian actresses to have released 7 films in one year (2011). Taapsee came into limelight after playing the role of ‘Minal Arora’ in the Bollywood film Pink.

Taapsee Pannu was born in New Delhi on Saturday, August 1, 1987 (36 years; as of 2023). Her zodiac sign is Leo.
She spent her childhood in Ludhiana, Punjab. Taapsee attended Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Delhi and went to Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology to pursue a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Taapsee did well academically in school and college and wanted to pursue a career in mathematics. While in school, she actively participated in extracurricular activities.
While in college, Taapsee started participating in modeling competitions and gradually started accepting various commercial modeling projects. She created many advertisements to manage her daily expenses. After graduation, Taapsee worked as a software engineer for some time.

Tapsee began her modeling career in 2004 by participating in Channel V’s talent show Get Gorgeous. She subsequently appeared in numerous print and television commercials. In 2008, she participated in the “Miss India” beauty pageant and won the titles of “Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face” and “Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin”.
