When asked if Teddi would support her decision to reconcile with Shannon, The The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum admitted that she would be “totally fine” with a reconciliation.

“Whatever Tamra feels is best for her. I support her,” Mellencamp explained, adding that “we all” can make friendships with great ups and downs. “Especially when you add a television show to it [and] When you add in finances and working together and all these different things, I’d say when it comes down to it, I’d be more satisfied if she reconciled with Shannon than with Vicki. [Gunvalson].”

While declaring that a reunion with Vicki is “never going to happen,” Tamra said she will always “fight hard” to keep a relationship alive when “I really care about someone.”

Over the years, Tamra and Shannon have had ups and downs in their friendship. Tamra says she strongly supported Shannon after her DUI and alleged fling in September 2023. They were close in the following weeks, but had a falling out before filming Season 18 RHOC started in January 2024.

Even so, Tamra told PEOPLE that the upcoming Season 18 reunion was relatively “calm” — until Alexis Bellino showed up, who returned as a Housewife friend and is engaged to Shannon’s ex John Janssen.

“That was the most explosive part of the reunion,” Tamra teased. “There were a lot of tough discussions that ended. There was a lot of emotion, there was a lot of explaining why I might feel a certain way, and overall, I felt like it was one of the best reunions I’ve had in a long time.”

On September 18, Tamra and Teddi announced their inaugural TwoTsCon live podcast event in a press release shared with PEOPLE. Taking place in Burbank, California, Bravolebrities will invite some of the network’s “Most Favorite Housewives” for an unforgettable night of live podcasting, unfiltered commentary, behind-the-scenes gossip and fan Q&As.
