Tandy Wright

Tandi Wright is a popular New Zealand actress who is best known for her roles in the TV series Shortland Street (1996), Seven Periods with Mr. Gormsby (2005) and Much Ado About Nothing (2011). Apart from being a great actress, she also works as an Intimacy Coordinator and is the Vice President of Fairness New Zealand.

Tandy Wright was born on Monday, May 4, 1970 (50 years old in 2020) in Zambia, East Africa. She attended high school in Wellington, New Zealand. As Tandy’s parents were in the entertainment industry, she developed an interest in acting at an early age. At the age of six, she landed a role in the television series Governor Grey (1976), playing one of George Grey’s grandchildren. In 1993, she entered the Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School in Wellington, New Zealand to study acting courses. After completing the acting course at the New Zealand Drama School, Tandy Wright began her career as a theatre artist while honing her acting skills at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre in London.
