Tanisha Santoshi started her career with a two-month part-time internship at Tips Industries Limited where she worked as an assistant director in the 2013 Bollywood film Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. In 2017, she worked as a freelancer in various positions such as assistant director, script supervisor, and production manager. She worked on a number of filmmaking projects while studying at University of the Arts London, including managing the production of How to Screen Print in 2018, directing the documentary True Color in 2018, and serving as director of the film How to Screen Print Assistant Director.
