To Mr. Yograj, I am an intern, not a female intern. And my hair was very short at the time, so people there didn’t realize I was a girl for a long time unless they talked to me! “

Bhatia added that starting from the men’s academy made her better prepared for professional cricket,

Their body language is different and that rubs off on you. I feel like, most of them are older than me, and being around them sharpens my reflexes. My foundation is pretty solid because I’ve been playing with boys since the beginning. It also made me mentally strong. Thankfully, Mr. Ugraj never treated me any differently either. I will never forget what I learned under him. It helps me stay disciplined. I watch my fitness like a hawk. Later, it felt easier to play with girls of the same age. If you set high standards while studying, it will be easier to cope with the challenges of top-level cricket when you grow up. “

If you fall down when you expect your career to only go up, it becomes difficult to deal with it at such a young age. I almost gave up cricket entirely. “
