Tanushree Kaushal started her career as a theater artist and has acted in various plays including Hindi and regional languages like Gujarati, Marathi and Punjabi. She started her career in Hindi television with a few roles and supporting roles in various daily soaps like “Dial 100” (2001), “Ssshhhh… Koi Hai” (2002) and “Rooh” (2004). At the same time, she appeared in a few television commercials, but went largely unnoticed. Later, she gained popularity for playing villain roles.
