Tanveer Bookwala started his career in 2005 as the Associate Creative Director of Balaji Telefilms’ show “Kya Kahein”. He later participated in a talk show called “Kandy Floss.” In 2009, he moved to Endemol Shine India where he worked for three years. In April 2012, he rejoined Balaji Telefilms and held various positions including deputy creative director, creative director, director, chief creative officer (CCO), and vice president (AVP) of Balaji Motion Pictures.
He has worked as a script writer and story writer for the 2014 film “Rajini MMS 2”, the 2016 film “Azhar”, the 2018 web series “XXX: Uncensored” and the 2023 web series “Ghost”, and directed by him. He has produced many films and web series including Kyaa Cool Hain Hum 3 in 2016, A Flying Jatt in 2016, Boygiri in 2017, The Great Dysfunction Family in 2018, Rasbhari and Fittrat in 2019, Asur in 2020 , Apharan in 2022, Asur Season 2 in 2023, and Ghost in 2023.
