Target Has a $25 Holiday Feast That Feeds 4 — Including a 6-Lb. Ham

Target is hoping to ease some of that holiday stress.

From Dec. 5 through Dec. 25, the company is offering a $25 holiday meal that feeds four people and includes several holiday staples: ham, green beans, French bread, soup, cornbread, potatoes and even some cookies.

The bundled shopping list is available both online and in store.

This city was just named ‘America’s Best Foodie City’ — and it’s not what you expect

The deal — which can be doubled for those serving a total of 8 people this holiday season — includes a 5 lbs. Good & Gather Russet Potatoes, 6-10 lb. Market Pantry Hickory Smoked Bone-In Spiral Cut Ham or Half Ham, Daily Favorite Demi French Bread, Good & Gather Frozen Gold and White Corn Mix, Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup, Del Monte Cut Green Beans and Peppermint Sandwich Cookies for Favorite day.

The total order will vary slightly depending on the weight of your ham — but the meat won’t exceed $9.90. A ham of that size alone would normally cost between $20 and $30.

Since the meal doesn’t come prepared, Target’s website has suggestions, like “cut the potatoes Hasselback-style, then use butter and fresh herbs to make them delicious.”

Those looking to take advantage of the offer online can add items to their shopping cart on Target.com. They can then choose from a variety of delivery options — from in-store pickup to having employees bring orders to customers’ cars to same-day doorstep delivery with Shipt.

Customers can also pay for eligible items with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits.

“Our guests turn to Target during special seasonal moments because of the combination of value and joy that sets us apart,” Chief Food and Beverage Officer Rick Gomez said in a statement. “We saw that again during Thanksgiving, so we’re building on that success by delivering even more of what they love: a delicious holiday meal for under $25.”

Target previously offered a $25 meal in November for those looking to feed their families on Thanksgiving. Although it included turkey instead of the ham main course, some of the side dishes carried over into Target’s new discount meal.

The company has more affordable options to round out the holidays including $5 desserts and sides like Good & Gather Broccoli and Cheese Veggie Tots and Favorite Day Holiday Mini House Gingerbread Kit.
