Tathya Patel Cause of the Mishap
Around one in the morning, an accident happened on the ISKCON Bridge, which is located on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway in the city’s Satellite district. Tathya Patel was operating a white Audi Q7 that he had rented from the buddy of his father who owns a car rental business. He was joined by three pals who were also GLS University students: Dhruv Patel, Harsh Patel, and Parth Patel. Around one in the morning, they arrived back in the city after attending a party at a farm close to Sanand.
When he arrived at the ISKCON Bridge, he was allegedly speeding over 120 kph while intoxicated. He was unaware that a truck and a Maruti Eeco vehicle were involved in another collision on the bridge.
He attempted to pass the truck on the left but lost control and crashed into the divider. Then, his vehicle crossed the center line and came to rest on the opposite side of the street, where some 50 people had gathered to assist the Eeco car’s passengers.
Nine individuals died after being crushed by his automobile, while dozens others were hurt. Some police officers and home guards who were stationed at the bridge were among the mob. Some of the bodies were propelled 25 to 30 feet away due to the collision’s strong impact.
