Tatjana Patitz was born on 25 March 1966 to a German father and an Estonian mother in Hamburg, Germany. She was raised in Skanor, Sweden along with her sister Sophie Patitz. Her father worked as a travel journalist.
Her mother was a dancer who performed at the world-famous Le Lido in Paris. Tatjana’s parents met at a wine tasting in a bodega in Spain.
At that time, in a bodega, her mother was a student traveling with a modern dance company. Tatjana learned horse riding at the age of 7. She said,
“I have been riding since I was a small child. For me, it means freedom, connectedness, and dedication. Horses transform stress and worry for me. They are genuine and spiritual. They make me happy and relaxed, especially if I feel pressured or tense.”
Tatjana passed away at the age of 56 on 11 January 2023 in Santa Barbara, California, United States because of breast cancer.

Tatjana worked in advertising campaigns and on runways. In 1992, she won an exclusive cosmetics contract with Germaine Monteil makeup and performs. She was featured on over 200 magazine covers worldwide such as 7 covers of American Vogue and 13 covers of British Vogue.
Tatjana also appeared in 1987 in the Duran Duran music video for Skin TRADE. She appeared in 1988 in the Nick Kamen music video for Tell Me. She appeared in the Korn music video for the song Make Me Bad.
She worked for international television commercials for Casrtie, Revon, and Levi. She appeared in a movie titled Rising Sun and The Single Guy and The Larry Sanders tv shows.
Tatjana had been married to Jason Johnson from 2003 to 2009. Before being married, she dated Pierce Brosnan and Nick Kamen. She had a son named Jonah Patitz.
