Taylor Swift is the latest artist to urge fans not to throw objects on stage.
During the pop superstar’s Eras Tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Sunday, she politely asked the audience to refrain from throwing objects while she was performing.
According to footage captured by fans on social media, the “Cruel Summer” singer, 33, took a moment to address the issue immediately after someone in the crowd threw a gift onto the stage at the River Plate Stadium.
“And just because communication is about having gentle, healthy boundaries — it really drives me crazy when things get thrown on stage,” Swift said while sitting at the piano during Forever part of her career.

“Because if it’s on stage, then a dancer can trip over it,” she said in a calm, thoughtful tone, expressing her concern. “I love that you brought gifts, and that’s so nice, but could you please not throw them on stage?”
“I love you so much,” the singer-songwriter added to her loyal Swifties before continuing her performance.
Swift is one of many stars who have spoken out about the recent dangerous phenomenon of objects being thrown at artists while concertgoers are on stage. Musicians such as Adele, Charlie Puth and Billie Eilish have made similar comments to fans in the past few months.
Many performers have openly expressed their concerns following several incidents: Harry Styles was hit by several objects during his Love on Tour; Kelsea Ballerini got hit in the eye with a bracelet; and Bebe Rexha was seriously injured after a male crowd member threw a cell phone at her, leading to his arrest.

The “Anti-Hero” singer addressed her fans days after continuing her highly successful Eras Tour, which kicked off its Latin American leg on Thursday in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The hitmaker played a run of three shows at the Estadio River Plate — one of which was postponed from Friday to Sunday due to inclement weather with heavy rain and wind.
Swift delighted the audience of several thousand at all three concerts. On Thursday night, she played a romantic Midnight ballad “Labyrinth” live for the first time as part of her “surprise songs,” and on Saturday she playfully changed the lyrics to her hit “Karma” to refer to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who was in attendance.

The pop star gave a not-so-subtle nod to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, with the line, “Karma’s a Chiefs guy coming straight to my house,” as he watched from the VIP tent with her dad, Scott Kingsley Swift.
After the show, the pair were spotted celebrating together, as fans captured footage of the “Lavender Haze” singer rushing off stage to kiss the NFL star.

Now that Swift has finished her shows in Argentina, she will travel to Brazil for three concerts in Rio de Janeiro and three more in São Paulo. The Latin American leg of her tour marks the final leg of the 2023 Eras Tour, which first kicked off in North America back in the spring.
The superstar will be on the road again next year as he is set to headline the Eras Tour across Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the UK
