Taylor Swift Changes ‘Karma’ Lyrics Again at Sydney Show as Travis Kelce Dances in the Audience

Taylor Swift welcomed Travis Kelce to Australia the best way she knows how!

Swift, 34, celebrated her boyfriend’s arrival by changing the lyrics to “Karma” again during her performance at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Friday.

The NFL star, 34, attended the show with his friend Ross Travis, who stood by his side as Swift sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” in the video divided by Xformerly Twitter.

After Swift sang the new lyrics, the crowd cheered loudly and Kelce started dancing with his hands in the air.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made the most of his experience by handing out picks to fans and wearing a selection of friendship bracelets. He made sure he looked as good as possible wearing a noticeably shorter beard and a bright blue outfit from the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collaboration.

Swift and Kelce’s reunion in Sydney marked the first time the two have spent time together since the 2024 Super Bowl, during which the Chiefs beat the 49ers in overtime 25-22. The day before the concert, the pair spent time at the Sydney Zoo.

This is the first time Kelce has been spotted at an Eras Tour performance since she flew to Argentina to watch Swift perform at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires in November 2023.

The concert in Buenos Aires also marked the first time Kelce met Swift’s father, Scott, and the first time Swift performed a verse change.

Kelce later reacted to the new texts on New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce (Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment) podcast, revealing that he had “a clue” about it.

“Maybe I had a little idea, but definitely when I heard that come out of her mouth, [it] still shocked me,” he said.

Since Kelce’s first performance on the Eras Tour was in July 2023 — before their relationship began — he told his brother that the concert “was even more electric.”

“I enjoyed it down there in Buenos Aires,” he said. “The show was even more electric knowing I had a little more to enjoy it and yeah. Taylor absolutely tore it up. She killed it. And it looked like she was having fun up there.”
