Taylor Swift Honors 288,000 Fans Who Attended Latest Eras Tour Shows: ‘Melbourne, You Are the Love of My Life’

Taylor Swift is grateful for the overwhelming support from her Melbourne fans!

On Sunday night local time, Swift, 34, paused the early part of her concert in Melbourne, Australia, to thank her 288,000 fans for attending her shows over three nights in what she revealed were “the biggest shows I’ve ever had on tour.”

IN clip posted on X (formerly Twitter), Swift told fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, “96,000 people the first night, 96,000 people the second night, 96,000 people tonight. All of those, all of those are the biggest shows I’ve ever played on tour, and you’ve done it three times.”

“The math is that’s 288,000 people in three nights,” she continued. “Melbourne, you are the love of my life. I can’t believe what you’ve done,” Swift added, raising her hand to her chest as the Melbourne crowd cheered.

“It’s just incredibly nice to do for someone. Make them feel welcome,” Swift continued.

“Another thing that makes me feel very happy, honestly, [is] standing here knowing that I have the most amazing opening act on this tour,” added the “Karma” singer, referring to her friend, Sabrina Carpenter, who supports her on the Australian leg of the tour and has performed for her many times before.

Swift’s comment comes after she reached her first milestone of performing in front of 96,000 on Friday at her first show in Melbourne as part of her Eras Tour.

The singer shared how she was “overwhelmed” by the achievement, telling the crowd: “This is the biggest concert we’ve done on this tour or any tour I’ve ever done,” in the clip divided by X.

Swift last toured Australia in 2018 because of her Reputation shows. She will bring her Ere concert in Sydney, Australia next weekend at the city’s Accor Stadium.

Before her performance in Melbourne, Swift brought her Ere tour in Tokyo where she performed four shows before returning to the United States in Las Vegas to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, beat the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s Super Bowl.
