Such was the case with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift when the superstar couple showed up at the US Open on Sept. 8, with Kelce wearing his Gucci hat that gave him fun hat hair … which Swift apparently wanted to address at one point during the afternoon.

In several fun photos, Swift, 34, was able to sit and ruffle Kelce’s hair after he removed his hat. Kelce tugged at his locks a few times himself, trying to tame his brown locks and make them go where he wanted them to go.

In all the photos, the couple, who have been dating for a year, were all smiles as they had a very intimate moment that so many people face. (Most of us don’t have hat hair anymore!)

For the US Open outing, Kelce, 34, wore a Gucci suit, with a Gucci cardigan, polo shirt, shorts and hat, while Swift opted for a red plaid Reformation dress. However, she matched Kelce when it came to accessories, rocking Gucci shoes and a Gucci bag.

The two had a whirlwind weekend in New York and also attended the September 7 wedding of supermodel Karen Elson and Electric Lady Studios owner Lee Foster.

Swift wore a Zimmermann Halliday Scallop Midi Dress with side cutouts and a romantic corset back design. The cream floral print dress was matched with her strappy heels and she finished off the ensemble with her signature red lips.

Kelce looked dapper in an all-black ensemble and wore his hair slicked back. He added a gold watch and chain.
