Taylor Swift Reputation era is on the horizon again. Are you ready for it?

Since the reissue in 1989 last October, Swifties were putting together the pop star’s Easter eggs hinting at her next album — and all roads seem to lead to the top of the charts in 2017.

The theory has picked up steam in recent months, with many of Swift’s date night looks seemingly inspired by the gothic aesthetic and snake emblems of the original Reputation.

In her TIME The 2023 Person of the Year cover story, the Grammy winner, 34, even revealed herself that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is almost here, describing her upcoming record as such: “It’s a goth-punk moment of female rage at being judged by the entire social structure.”

So we put on our detective glasses to decode Swift’s new Reputation outfits and all the fun hidden messages in them.

All of Swift’s past eras may have been recognized at the 2024 Golden Globes, where her concert film was recognized for cinematic and cinematic achievement.

But she chose to wear a slinky metallic green Gucci dress, covered in sequins that could be interpreted as scales, that screamed Reputation.

Fans even narrowed down the style cues to Swift’s glazed donut nail extensions because they looked like claws, a rare manicure choice for the artist.

We were hoping she’d pair the glittery set with the $63 Mazin snake ring she wore on her hand during her bachelorette party with Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne and Brittany Mahomes (gives the girl the “Bad Blood” crew!). But her elegant De Beers accessories were also a dazzling choice.

For the 2023 VMAs, the “Cruel Summer” singer ditched her colorful Eras tour wardrobe in favor of a bold black look.

Her Versace dress had Reputation written all over him, especially with a thigh-baring slit similar to the silhouette of the one-legged snake jumpsuit by Roberto Cavalli she wore to perform powerful hits like “Look What You Made Me Do” and “…Ready For It?” during her sold-out Eras concerts.

Even on nights out with Travis Kelce, Swift entered her edgiest days.

This particular look was not a direct nod Reputationbut more so than the clothes she wore offstage during that time.

One fan on Xu (formerly Twitter) announced Swift’s return “bleach boots,” referencing the lace-up shoes she famously wore during her platinum blonde era, around the time she hosted the Met Gala and apparently got the inspiration for her song “Getaway Car.”

And during the couple’s meeting in New York that same weekend, Swift rocked the black-on-black ‘fit’ he announced Reputationreturn.

Returning to one of her favorite brands, she wore a Versace corset top designed with a plunging neckline and gold Medusa logo medallions on the straps (another snake detail!).

Don’t forget that Swift leaves blank spaces in her master plan, either. Her Midnight music videos are packed with loads of costumes pulled from Reputationcabinet.

In the visuals for “Anti-Hero” she wears boots with a snakeskin pattern, and in “Karma” she hisses her lyrics with slicked-back hair, black lipstick and a Versace Medusa necklace – all reminiscent of Reputationpunk album cover.

And if you’re wondering when this all started. We think it started at the 2023 iHeart Radio Music Awards, where the whole venue lit up in Alexandre Vauthier’s sparkly teal look, which reminded us of her 2018 hooded bodysuit. Reputation tour.

With the 2024 Grammys just around the corner, we can’t help but wonder if Swift has something up her sleeve. For now, we’re predicting he’ll opt for the royal reptilian gold to match the six trophies he’s in the running for.
