Taylor Swift Pens Thank You Note to Paris and Calls New Segment of Eras Tour ‘Female Rage the Musical!’

Shortly after Taylor Swift closed her fourth and final sold-out show in Paris on her record-breaking Eras Tour on May 12, the superstar took to social media to share her thoughts on the experience.

On Instagram and xSwift, 34, discussed the addition of her latest album — Department for tortured poets (TTPD) — on tour, which meant including seven songs from TTPDnew clothes, scenography and choreography.

“This post is dedicated to the new Tortured poets part of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and to everyone who made these memories so magical,” Swift wrote in her caption, accompanied by stunning photos from this part of the show’s 46-song set list.

Travis Kelce Attends Girlfriend Taylor Swift’s 4th Eras Tour Show in Paris — and Dances in the Stand!

Swift resumed touring on May 9 after a nearly two-month hiatus, during which she released her 11th album, TTPDApril 19.

“To my crew, fellow performers and band who worked tirelessly during the hiatus to come up with this surprise for you – but mostly for the fans in Paris,” she continued. “I’m so grateful that we showed it to you for the first time because you gave us so much excitement, passion and love.”

This period of the show included “So High School,” a song about her NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34. He attended the fourth evening in Paris at the Paris La Défense Arena, where she performed it in front of him for the first time on tour, at one point singing, “You know how to play ball, I know Aristotle.”

The TTPD the set also featured “But Daddy I Love Him,” “Down Bad,” “Fortnight,” “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” and “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? ”

Swift altered her career-spanning set list to make room for songs from Tortured poetswhich meant dropping several fan favorites like “The Archer,” from her album Lover and “Cheers” off Speak now.

Taylor Swift adds TTPD Songs (and takes away others) from the setlist of the Eras tour at the start of the European leg in Paris

Swift ended her post on social media by saying, “I am SO pumped to play this for every crowd on tour. See you very soon, Stockholm! 🤍”

Taylor Swift’s mom Andrea is spending Mother’s Day at the 4th Paris Eras Tour Show

After Paris, Swift will finish the month of May with performances in Stockholm, Lisbon and Madrid.

Swift will continue the tour in Europe over the summer before wrapping up in London in August. He’ll then head back across the pond for shows in Toronto and Vancouver before doing more shows in the US
