Beyoncé (42) appeared at the premiere of Swift’s song in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The Eras Tour concert film in Los Angeles, and the 33-year-old “Look What You Made Me Do” singer couldn’t hide her delight that her “guiding light” attended the special night.

“I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would have been like without the influence of @beyonce,” Swift began the heartfelt Instagram caption, which was written alongside a boomerang video of her and Beyoncé at a movie theater. “The way she taught me and every artist here to break the rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit.”

In a fun boomerang shot, the two pop icons sat at the front of the theater sharing a box of a special Taylor Swift Eras Tour popcorn. As a few pieces of popcorn flew out of Beyoncé’s hand and bounced back, Swift lifted a piece of the movie theater snack to her mouth and back again while looking at the “Drunk in Love” singer.

Beyoncé — who recently wrapped her Renaissance World Tour — wore a sleek black outfit with shiny silver armor, which was also on display when she posed alongside the “Blank Space” singer on the red carpet for the event. Swift, on the other hand, wore a strapless blue Oscar de la Renta dress with floral cutouts and a diamond necklace.

Swift’s concert film is set to be released on Friday in more than 100 countries worldwide. Meanwhile, Beyoncé — who posted earlier Homecoming which was part documentary, part concert film and featured her performances at Coachella 2018 — has her own new concert film set for release on December 1st. “I’ve never had as much fun as I did on the Eras Tour in my life,” Swift said in a speech during the premiere at AMC Theaters in the Grove on Wednesday. “Just the most electrifying experience of my life and, and the reason for that is a few things like my band, my dancers are a team.”

Along with the speech, Swift posed for photos with director Sam Wrench, her dancers, the tour band and some fans. The movie about the star’s concert has already been a huge success, reaching over $100 million in global revenue from advance ticket sales. Ticket sales also broke AMC’s US record for single-day sales within 24 hours of a film’s announcement.
