Swifties are celebrating a holiday that revolves around one of Taylor Swift’s favorite pastimes — the Easter egg toss.
On Sunday, the “Daylight” singer’s management team, known as Taylor Nation, took to Instagram to share an Easter snap of baby Swift wearing a bunny suit in the arms of her mother, Andrea Swift.
Andrea appeared to coo to her daughter, now 34, in the silent video, which was dated March 14, 1990 – Swift’s first Easter season. The petite pop star stared at the camera and waved her arms in what appeared to be a pink and white tufted suit with bunny ears.

“I’ve been dropping Easter eggs since 1989. What’s your favorite find through the ages? 🐰🥚,” read the caption of the post.
In addition to being a colorful shell that is sometimes filled with candy or money to celebrate the holiday, the “Easter egg” has become a term for hidden messages in pop culture that hint at other projects or offer clues about upcoming events.
Swift has become known for incorporating them into her songs and videos since the beginning of her career. Her earliest Easter eggs were hidden messages she wrote to fans in her album liner notes using capital letters to explain what the songs were about.

Everything you need to know about Taylor Swift’s new album, Department for tortured poets
She recently teased the release of her upcoming album, Ward Poet Ward, before announcing its existence and release date at the Grammy Awards on February 4, 2024.
In the music video for her song “Bejeweled” from the album Midnight, Swift was holding a watch that read “Exile ends” with the numbers two and three. Looking back, fans realized that 2/3 marked the day before she announced her new era.
Another hint came in October 2023 when Swift and longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff held up 11 fingers in photos the singer posted of the two in the studio. In retrospect, they probably hinted at her upcoming release, her 11th studio album.

While her plans for Easter 2024 are unknown, earlier this month Swift was spotted vacationing in the Bahamas with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, while on a break from her Eras Tour.
