He added: “I got an amazing dream job that I love, great friends that I call family and a very comfortable home. I didn’t HAVE to come here… But I couldn’t stand by while families were slaughtered and burned alive in their homes!!! Just because I’m Jewish or because I’m Israeli.”
He also condemned Hamas (also known as the Islamic Resistance Movement) and called on people to stand with Israel.
“While one side protects babies, children and the elderly, the other side uses them as human shields!!! It will be an insult to animals all over the world to call them ‘animals,’ but they are not human beings,” he said of Hamas, which was designated a terrorist group by the United States in 1997, AP reports.
“They killed and slaughtered families in their beds with the family’s pets!!!! And then they set fire to the houses!!!! Try to imagine it happening in your neighborhood, neighbors or family you know.”
He concluded, “Not only do I stand here with Israel and I actually stand here. I stand here with humanity. Don’t be on the wrong side of history!! Don’t stand by and say nothing…”
