National award for teachers in 2023
National Teacher Award 2023: Every year on 5th September, the nation observes National Teachers Day to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. This year, President Droupadi Murmu will confer the National Teacher Award on 75 teachers from schools, colleges and government institutions in various places in the country. The award ceremony will be held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
According to an official notification released by the education minister, each awardee will receive a certificate of appreciation, a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and a silver medal. The live webcast of the award ceremony starts at 4:15 p.m.
