Facts/Trivia
- According to Tejaswini, as a child she wanted to be an army officer, a beauty queen and a teacher.
- In an interview, Tejaswini revealed a disturbing encounter she had with a landlord in Pune who propositioned her for sex. She described how when she arrived at the office of her landlord, a local government representative, to pay her rent, he proposed a disturbing arrangement involving sex in exchange. Tejaswini was shocked and offended by this bold proposal and he immediately threw a glass of water on the landlord’s face. Tejaswini Pandit said in an interview,
It was around October 2009 and I used to live in a rented apartment on Sinhagad Road (Pune). Only one or two of my films had been released at that time. The owner of this apartment is a legal person. When I went to his office to pay my rent, he made the request directly to me… there was a glass of water on the table and I picked it up and threw it in his face. I didn’t get into this industry to do something like this, otherwise I wouldn’t be living in a rental apartment. I would bring the house, car, etc. “
- In 2021, Tejaswini took to Instagram and recalled her childhood days with her father in a post. She recalled the two spoons her family had owned since she was born, one for measuring tea powder and the other for measuring sugar. It was her father who taught her the art of making tea using these spoons. Although the handle of one of the spoons was broken, they never replaced it because her family firmly believed in the importance of precise measurements in cooking.
